Mumbai's internal transport system
is varied and includes taxis, auto-rickshaws, buses, local trains and Hovercraft services. Auto
Rickshaws are available only beyond Sion on Central line and Bandra on Western line. Metered
yellow top taxis are available all over Mumbai. An efficient bus service covering all areas of the city
and suburbs is operated by BEST. Also local trains provide excellent
connections between all the parts of the city and suburbs. Hovercraft
services are available between Gateway of India and New Mumbai.
