Deluxe 5-star hotels in the city have exchange facility counters, which are open throughout the day. However, normal banking hours are 1030 hrs to 1430 hrs on weekdays and from 1030 hr, to 1230 hrs on Saturdays. Round the clockexchange facility is also available at International Airports. It ay be noted that the foreigner's ore now allowed to pay their hotel bills in the Indian Rupee equivalent of the U.S. dollar tariff. They shouldalso exchange their money through authorized money changers/ bankers and obtain a receipt, which should be retained toenable them to reconvert their nspent money on departure.
