March-April Dedicated
to Goddess Gauri (Parvati) and symbolizing conjugal bliss, the festival is rated
as the most popular in Jaipur. On
the 17th day following 'Holi', a grand procession rolls out of the City Palace
and goddess Gauri is carried in a palanquin in a procession. Elephant
Festival: March-April This
