Area : 520.82 sq. km

Best time to visit: November to May (closed mid June to mid November).

Species found: Elephant, tiger, panther, sloth bear, nilgai, sambar, chital, wild boar, porcupine, peafowl, red jungle fowl, partridge crocodiles, goral and chousingha.

Where to stay: Forest Rest Houses, Log Huts, etc. at Dhikala; Forest Rest Houses at Sarapduli, Bijrani, Ghairal. Excellent resorts also along the park.

Nearest Town: Ramnagar (51 kms).

How to reach: Nearest Airport at Pantnagar (110 kms.) and nearest railhead at Ramnagar (51 kms).
