WHAT TO SEE

Gun Hill

Gets its quaint name from pre-independence days when a gun mounted on this second highest peak of Mussoorie was fired to herald mid-day, thus enabling people to adjust their watches.  A 400 m Ropeway connects the Mall to Gun Hill and makes for a thrilling trip.

Kempty Falls

15 Km. This attractive waterfall has an altitude of 1370 m.  Many tourists enjoy a bath at the foot of the falls during summer.

Municipal garden

4 km.  A scenic picnic spot amidst a beautiful garden, an artificial lake and boating facilities.

Children’s Lodge

This is Mussoorie’s highest peak.  A telescope mounted at this point provides some breathtaking views of the Himalayan ranges and Doon Valley.
