The
directory has been divided into six sections River Rafting, Water
sports, Angling, Scuba Diving, Paragliding and Expeditions/Snow
sports. The section on Water sports consists of Sailing, Wind
Surfing, Skiing, Para Sailing and other activities, which are
generally offered together at water sport centres in India. Only the
outfitters, who are adventure sport organisers themselves and have
voluntarily agreed to adopt the safety and quality norms laid down
by the Ministry of Tourism have been included in the directory.
Adventure
sport lovers as well as the outfitters can contact the NIWS at the
